"Do you know the story of Rabbi Zusya?" he asked. "He was a Chasidic master who live in the 1700s. One day he said, 'When I get to the heavenly court, God will not ask me, 'Why weren't you Moses?' Rather he will ask me, 'Why were you not Zusya?'"

I like that. We are too busy trying to live up to the image of someone else rather than just BEING. We run around doing, doing, doing when God really just wants to be about being...being all that he created us to be. We marr his creation when we try to be something or someone other than who he created us to be.
Hi, charley. Sometimes it's hard to see ourselves as God sees us. Many times, we think that in order to be useful in the kingdom of God we need to be like a Billy Graham. a Martin Luther King, or a bigtime Christian singer. Sometimes, we find it hard to let our worth and meaning lie in the hands of God.
Agree completely. I also find that we forget to be ourselves because we've been so busy trying to be someone else that we don't know who we are.
Hi, benjamin potter. Appreciate your thought and how true it is. Sometimes we stray far from ourselves and it takes a bit of time till we get back on the path.
